Mother of special needs child publishes her experience

MACOMB TOWNSHIP — In August, Macomb Township resident Elizabeth “Liz” Zurawski organized a fundraiser for Families of SMA, an organization devoted to the research of Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA). And just a month later, her very first book, “Ian’s Guide: Information for Children with Special Medical Needs,” hit shelves.
