Falls resident shares WWII memories

Sixty-two years have passed since the Battle of Normandy, but the memories are clear for Dick Stodghill. The Cuyahoga Falls resident and veteran of World War II and Korea has written Normandy 1944: A Young Rifleman's War, relating his experiences as an 18-year-old rifleman in the 4th Infantry Division.
Stodghill introduces his comrades: stalwart Bob Everidge, taciturn Nick Scala and the unforgettable Eddie Wolfe, a platoon sergeant so reliable that saying ``Bring me Eddie Wolfe'' was something like rubbing Aladdin's lamp. Would that there were photos in this recommended memoir.
