A West Side Tale from a Scary Competitor

I said it in the fourth grade at Peachland Avenue Elementary School, and I repeat it again: "Yes, I know it is late, but I have my book report today."

Actually, the book report and a little more - because you, my kind readers, asked for it.

Last Nov. 29, my wonderful editor at The Mighty Signal, Leon Worden, sent an e-mail wherein an author, a local SCV resident, asked the paper to somehow get word out about the book she had written. She wanted to "receive publicity for this suspense-thriller set against the backdrop of Santa Clarita and the L.A. County Sheriff's Department."
