Local mystery writer signing books today

Author Eddie Lay of Camby is having two book signings for "Mystery of the Hats" at Mooresville Movies today. The first signing will be from noon to 1:30 p.m. and the second signing will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
"Mystery of the Hats" is a fictional story about two 15-year-old girls, Hannah and Amber, who find strange hats in the closet. They enlist the aid of a neighbor to find the owner of the hats, and to figure out how the hats ended up in the closet. Their quest uncovers a murder, deception, a life-changing secret and a mysterious girl in a white dress.
