Book honors the life of one besieged by physical handicaps – but happy in love
The Friday Flyer, August 11, 2006 by Sharon Rice
This is a story about true love – not the fluff, romanticism and lust that passes for love in books and movies – but the love between soul mates that pours itself out in kindness and tender concern for each other’s well-being; that serves without asking to be served; that bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things and endures all things for the sake of the beloved.
This is the story about a woman named Jeanette Kuser who loved her husband of five years so much, when he died on March 14, 2004, in the parking lot of Pechanga Casino, the greatest way she could think to honor his memory was to write a book about his life – a book she entitled “Handicaps, Heartaches and Happiness.”
