Creating ‘Misery’ from agony
A Dawson woman delves into writing as a way to cope with a difficult experience.

DAWSON — Not long ago, Shandeidra Jordan of Dawson lost her voice for six months.
To cope with the frustration of that experience, the Carver Elementary School math teacher turned to writing and penned “The Misery of Being Unknown,” a 91-page Publish America novel.
