New novel's action partly set in Union
86-year-old's story is `very emotional book'

Sebron Haigler's first book, "Johnny Odell," was recently published. Haigler, an 86-year-old Charlotte resident, centered much of the book's action in Union County. Haigler recently answered questions from the Observer, telling us more about his book (Publish America, $24.95). Haigler is retired from the Air Force and Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools as an Air Force Junior ROTC instructor.
