Sweet sounding words: Jemison man writes first book of Christian poetry

Gerald W. White Jr. never considered himself to be the writing type until three years ago when he gave his life to Christ.

"I haven't been able to put the pencil down since then," says the Norfolk, Va. native who has lived in Jemison about 14 years with his wife, Jackie. "I've even been woken out of a dead sleep."
