‘No Fleas on Us’ tells tales of its author, the animal shelter

Linda Greenberg of Swampscott loves animals. Her nearly 17 years of volunteer work at the Marblehead Animal Shelter proves that. But why would she catalog those 17 years and then write a book about her “animal shelter tales”?
It’s for the animals, for her family and for herself, she says.
“My family is my greatest accomplishment,” she says proudly at her dining room table with husband Harvey Greenberg and a couple of friends present. “After that, it’s my years at the Marblehead Animal Shelter. The people there have become my second family.”
