'A Very Dirty Business'
grassroots, June/July 2006

That’s the title of the new book from Bruce Grant, Environment Officer for Kent. ‘A Very Dirty Business’ is set in Tunbridge Wells and describes how terrorists build a dirty bomb using radioactive material smuggled into Britain, before detonating it in the quaint spa town...to devastating effect. His first book, Predictions About The Environment, was a nonfiction look at issues such as climate change, but this novel is much darker, “its the sort of scenario that is thought will be the next step for a terrorist attack.” Bruce told Grassroots.

Bruce has only been writing books for 5 years “Im very passionate about it,” he says. “I read so many books and thought I could do something like this myself!” The book has been published through a major US publisher and is available to buy in shops and Amazon.
