Writing Paints a Picture
Penn Line Magazine, April 2006 by John Zelewicz

Below are excerpts from Penn Line Magazine, Sullivan County PA on the writings and paintings of Patricia Gehman. ( I have sent a copy to PublishAmerica of the article.)

"The two big passions in Patricia Gehman's life are writing and painting. In bringing her own distinctive style to these creative pursuits, she has discovered how well they complement each other. My paintings tell a story and my writings paint a picture."

"Gehman's book 'Perimeters, A Novel of Mystery'displays another type of writing style by the author. The story is about the extent to which individuals will go to achieve their desire for good or evil. Gehman enjoyed a sense of satisfaction in writing a mystery because of the response she got from readers. I had people telling me that they just couldn't put the book down. They had to see what was coming next"

"Gehman's lastest book, 'At Just the Right Time: A Story of Courage' was published in 2005. It tells the story of an 8-year-old boy who wants to buy a car for his dad. To do so, the boy gets involved with selling Everlasting Beauty Aids and embarks on an adventure filled with colorful characters."

"Most recently, Gehman has been gearing up for an art show and book signing. She'll be at the Eagle Rock Winery in Laporte, PA on June 18, 2006 from noon to 5 p.m. to sign books and display her paintings."

Books and paintings will be on sale through July 24, 2006
