Man writes book about family shop

Yucaipa man Fred Smith, 54, still remembers the days when his family owned and operated Smith's Market at Ninth and H streets in San Bernardino.
He recalls how the market was a sort of community gathering place where local residents came to share stories as well as discuss politics and current events.
