That would be Connie Cooke who has signed a contract with PublishAmerica of Frederick, Md., for her manuscript Fade to Dark. Cooke says the novel is about "glitz and glamour, billionaires, supermodels, love, lust, power, sex, money, murder." Just another day in Houston. Release date is in the next few months. And, yes, we think Cooke will still be able to do lunch in this town. Her book is, after all, fiction.
