The Raven Bookstore hosted a book signing even Friday, February 2, 2007 featuring Joyce Shields Colvin, author of 'Whatever It Cakes.' Mrs Colvin is a resident of Claiborne Parish and is pictured with Vicki Nobles of Dubach. The Raven Bookstore is located on the square in Homer and offers something for eveyone in a comfortable, beautifully decorated shop with hot coffee and sitting areas for browsing.
Emily Goodson accompanied by her grandmother, Phyllis Jones attended the book signing. Hospital administrator Doug Efferson and James Colvin share a laugh at the book signing event. Bea Grimes, Joyce White and Dale Tully are also some of the many attending.
