Finding Her 'Place'

Marjorie Casswell was 10 years old when a teacher asked her to read one of her stories.
Until that day, the shy fourth-grader had wanted to be a writer. She carried around a black-and-white notebook and wrote stories about the Blue Fairy, a character with superpowers who was "a cross between Wonder Woman and Super Girl."
