Local author, Sharon Miller Bolander

Sharon Miller Bolander was born and raised just outside of Graytown. She took an English course her senior year of high school which was deeply involved with creative writing. On top of her participation in that class, several of Sharon's teachers encouraged her to write and explore the different genres.
In 1967 she married and left the area when her husband's job relocated them to Michigan. Sharon would later take a job as a business writer where she would work mostly on newsletters for the groups she was involved in. She didn't return to her love of creative writing until 2005.
