Danielle White Interviews Cindy Bauer

I recently had the pleasure to interview Cindy Bauer, author of Chasing Memories. Bauer was born in Davenport, Iowa, where she grew up the youngest of three children. During her childhood, she was an avid reader and had always inspired to become a writer. Marriage, career changes, and relocation filled her time and she left her dream behind.
Cindy married her husband, Robert, in 1976. The couple moved to Missouri in 1986 when her mother became terminally ill. They decided to stay and make it their home and still reside there with their two pets.
After gaining employment with a small town newspaper, her dream reignited. With encouragement from her husband and sister, Cindy wrote Chasing Memories, the first book in a planned trilogy, with publication of Shades of Blue slated for early 2007.
