BERLIN-What do Buddhism, magic and a singular Ferris wheel all have to do with love?

In her first novel, "The Great Bardo Ride," former Berlin resident, Lise St. Amant, explores the devastation of losing one's spouse through death and one man's journey up from grief as he battles with demons and questions about his marriage and his wife's past. But it is first and foremost a couragious look at man's ability to overcome the seemingly impossible, and to love again.
